Yantra of Durga

(The 3 main upward pointing triangles represent the trinity of Brahma the creator, Vishnu the sustainer and Shiva the destroyer. The downward pointing triangle is their manifestation as Durga the great mother goddess and the physical world. The fact that they are all inter-linked shows that each has within it, aspects of all the others).

Artwork by JPB

Symbol used by Scottish Power

Each of the quarters consist of 9 inward pointing coloured triangles which bound 4 outward pointing white triangles. Within the design are 3 static (on their base) coloured squares and 2 dynamic (on their apex) white squares.
